So people say Cream never played at Toft's...

What's this all about then? [flickr]http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3345/3575576042_35fd19fe5d.jpg[/flickr] Thanks to Simon Brint for this ticket scan... People say it wasn't Tofts, it was Mick's Flamenco Club (more recently Pipers), so did Toft's move more than once? Or did Tofts move the gig? Or did they promote the gig at another club? Anyone got details?

Lots more opinion here.

This is my site The 'Gerald that I built in a fury of excitement when I first moved to Folkestone in approximately 2004. I'd been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that so I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get now. The site was updated more frequently with a calendar of events and voting for best venues and things, and I know it was a handy resource for others who were thinking of moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as Folkestone itself is becoming the exciting place we knew it was about to become. I am not Gerald BTW, this comes from the name of a fake newspaper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are GRATE aren't they? Do contact me if you have anything to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on the twitter.
