apart from pay the maintenance charges... the residents meet up regularly and agree things by committee. There's an accountant on call, but no solicitor I don't think. As I say, we're only ten flats in the one block. Flats have been sold since I've been in here, but I've not had to answer any questions. Maybe I've got my head in the sand a bit, sorry not to be more help...
This is part of my website The 'Gerald that I built in a fury of excitement when I first came here in approximately '04. I'd been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that so I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get nowadays. The site was a lot more dynamic with a calendar of events and voting for favourite venues and stuff, and I know it was a handy resource for others who were moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though just a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as Folkestone itself is becoming the exciting place we always thought it was just about to. My name is not Gerald BTW, the name comes from the name of a pretend newspaper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are GRATE aren't they? Do contact me if you have anything to contribute, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on the twitter.
