From Kent News:
A radio controlled scale model of a German tank has been stolen from a garage in Folkestone.
The 1-16th sized half-track military vehicle from World War Two is painted in camouflage colours and has the numbers 007 in white paint on the sides and a badge on the front.
PC Andy Perham said: "This is a distinctive model, and I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen it being used or maybe being offered for sale."
Plenty of [ebay=remote contrrol tank]remote controlled tanks for sale here[/ebay], I don't see one that quite matches the picture on kent news though...
This is part of my website The 'Gerald that I built in a fury of enthusiasm when I first came to Folkestone in approximately '04. I'd been a regular visitor for a while previous to that so I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get now. The site was updated more frequently with a gig calendar and voting for favourite venues and things, and I know it was a handy resource for those who were moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is becoming the exciting place we always thought it was just about to. My name is not Gerald BTW, this comes from the name of a fake paper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are GRATE aren't they? Do contact me if you have anything to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on the twitter.
