250k but I think that's a guide price for auction. Here it is.
Situated on Sandgates Esplanade with uninterrupted views of the sea and coastline, Bar Vasa is a well known restaurant/bar with function room and terrace. The property is located on the A259, between the centres of Folkestone and Hythe, with only the road separating the building from the beach.
As the restaurant is equipped it may be possible to resume trading. The premises may also have the potential to operate as a variety of commercial uses or convert into residential, subject to all necessary consents being obtainable.
I bet it gets turned into flats, though it's only the lower levels for sale there...
This is my site The 'Gerald that I built in a frenzy of excitement when I first moved to Folkestone sometime in '04. I'd been a frequent visitor for a few years before that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get now. The site used to be updated more frequently with a calendar of events and voting for favourite venues and things, and I know it was a handy resource for others who were thinking of moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though just a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is becoming the exciting place we knew it was just about to. I am not Gerald BTW, this comes from the name of a fake newspaper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great aren't they? Do contact me if you have anything to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on the twitter.
