Pub for sale

Pub for sale

As previously reported, Mustang's is up for sale. 70,000 for a ten year lease, and for that you get a 50% share of the fruit machine profits.

It's been many things in just the brief time I've been visiting Folkestone, I hope someone can turn it into something cool... I'd like to see it become a fancy chain pub I think, an All Bar One or something, town could do with one of those. While most towns are keen to have less chain bars, Folkestone's not at that stage yet, we want to get them in so we can start complaining about getting them out!

Anyway, I guess just ask at the bar if you have 70k burning a hole in your pocket, though I wouldn't advise carrying it round that bit of town in cash... If you buy it, please install some real ales.

This is my website The 'Gerald that I built in a frenzy of excitement when we first moved to Folkestone in approximately '04. I'd been a frequent visitor for a few years previous to that but I am technically one of those DFLs you get now. The site used to be a lot more dynamic with a calendar of events and voting for best venues and things, and I know it was a handy reference for those who were moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is becoming the exciting place we knew it was about to become. My name is not Gerald by the way, this comes from a fake paper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great aren't they? Do contact me if you have anything to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on Twitter.
