We are very pleased to announce that the Kaiser Chiefs will be playing the Leas Cliff Hall as part of their first UK tour in almost two years.
The 2012 tour follows the band's re-emergence this year with new album 'The Future Is Medieval', a host of UK festival appearances including a euphoric return to Glastonbury, V Festival, two huge sold out shows at Leeds' Kirkstall Abbey and some superlative shows on the European festival circuit.

This is my site The Folkestone Gerald that I built in a fury of excitement when we first came to Folkestone sometime in 2004. I'd been a frequent visitor for a while before that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get nowadays. The site was updated more frequently with a gig calendar and voting for best venues and stuff, and I know it was a useful reference for others who were thinking of moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only to Hythe) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we always thought it was just about to. I am not Gerald BTW, this comes from the name of a pretend paper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great aren't they? Do contact me if you have something to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on the twitter.
