assura group has a metronome page, looks like they own other medical type facilities so this backs up the story of it being bought by a health care trust.
Just found a PJ Harvey gig at the Metronome, and another where she almost played at Bottoms. But it was cancelled.

This is my site The 'Gerald that I built in a fury of enthusiasm when I first moved to Folkestone in approximately 2004. I'd been a frequent visitor for a while before that but I am technically one of those DFLs you get now. The site was a lot more dynamic with a calendar of events and voting for favourite venues and things, and I know it was a handy resource for others who were thinking of moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is becoming the exciting place we always thought it was about to become. I am not Gerald BTW, this comes from a pretend newspaper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald.
