Possibly still new-inn.info but unlikely if it's been renamed...
Has been bought by the people who own Duke of Cumberland and The Jackdaw.
I been here! See more in my gigography.
16th century coaching inn, mostly modern in the bar area though. Was independently owned, and more of a restaurant with a bar than a pub though I'd say.
Was known as the New Inn for a long time, now renamed, see how that pans out...
Now the pub is part of the same family as the Jackdaw it's reopened and renamed as The Gatekeeper. Enjoy!
I'm aware the mailout I send has some repeating info in from way back, please let me know if I'm out of date...

Just seen an ad saying the New Inn, Etchinghill is the closest pub to the channel tunnel... never thought about it that way but I suppose it is!
I regularly visit the new inn in etchinghill from my home in folkstone at least once a month with the family and the food is always top quality. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the chef makes the effort to meet the customers. The owners are always there with a smile which makes this family run pub a most friendly place to eat and drink.
