A new event from Tony King, I thought that bar was called La Vue though AND I thought bar below was the one below Kalala? I really haven't a clue have I?
Just seen a poster at work. Actually this was open ages ago, we went there for New Years once when Chambers cancelled. Some kind of relaunch then. There will be a DJ and live entertainment:

Missive from La Vue:
There's a PANTS FASHION SHOW at La Vue this weekend, on Friday and Saturday night. Lotti's pants, sorry, lingerie shop is doing a bit of a show in Folkestone's poshest bar on Friday and Saturday night. There will be underwear models from Lotti's, and also some posing from the La Vue cocktail team.
There's a half page story in The Folkestone Herald this week about how there's NOT going to be a strip club opening up under La Vue... what a non story, brilliant publicity though, did anyone suspect their might be one? It's a great puff piece that advertises the room under the bar is available for private hire, the venue is going for a late license, and they're after a license that will allow "adults only" events...
been many times great food, great surroundings, great downstairs bar with dj's fridays and saturdays danced all night!
can't wait for this speed dating on the the 20th of this month and robbie williams look alike and sing alike, he was amazing when he was at La Vue the last time. Great place, just what folkestone has been waiting for.
Word on the street is that one of the club nights from Chambers will be starting up in the huge downstairs bar of La Vue... does this mean INDIE DANCING? Should be a success, fingers crossed!
The bar's called La Vue (kinda what you said) and it's a new venture by Paul O'Connor, local builder-turned-property developer and patron of the arts. I haven't actually been inside since it was finished.
Nice to see La Vue laid on some free tea and biscuits for the veterans on Sunday. We were pleased to return, and pleased it was as good as we remembered...
A guide to eating and drinking in Folkestone, Sandgate, Hythe, and the surrounding area... Do you remember when this was the top ranking result for Folkestone Restaurants? All independent, unfortunately unpaid, never spiteful...
