Top night!!! club upstairs and party bar downstairs. The DJ downstairs was an old geezer. Best DJ I've seen for years and that includes all the holidays abroard. Highly recomended. Music upstairs commercial dance (eric prydes basement jaxx etc. Downstairs all the CHEESE wham, Robbie, Hot Stuff, Full monty. Drinks promos until 11 and this is when the DJ is absolutly MENTAL. This is part of my website The 'Gerald that I built in a fury of enthusiasm when we first came to Folkestone in approximately '04. I'd been a frequent visitor for a while before that but I am technically one of those DFLs you get nowadays. The site was a lot more dynamic with a calendar of events and voting for favourite venues and stuff, and I hear it was a useful reference for those who were thinking of moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is becoming the exciting place we always thought it was about to become. I am not Gerald by the way, this comes from a pretend paper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald.
