OK not a big deal in the grand scheme of things as they were in London before I saw them at Edinburgh Fringe. But, they're coming back. This amazes me, four quid for four shows, of which they are one. I hope it is as good as I remember as I'm planning to leave work early and rearrange my weekend around it. I'm quite nervous about this. Who's with me?
This is my website The 'Gerald that I built in a frenzy of excitement when I first came to Folkestone sometime in '04. I'd been a frequent visitor for a few years previous to that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get now. The site used to be a lot more dynamic with a gig calendar and voting for favourite venues and things, and I know it was a handy resource for those who were moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is becoming the exciting place we always thought it was about to become. My name is not Gerald BTW, this comes from a fake paper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local paper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great aren't they? Do contact me if you have anything to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on Twitter.
