It happened days ago, not sure why the papers just got it today. It's not part of the land that is the official National Trust property, apparently the bit that collapsed in to the sea is some private land, part of a farm. Interesting though.

This is my site The FG that I built in a fury of excitement when we first moved to Folkestone in approximately 2004. I'd been a frequent visitor for a few years before that but I am technically one of those DFLs you get nowadays. The site was a lot more dynamic with a calendar of events and voting for favourite venues and things, and I hear it was a useful reference for others who were thinking of moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is becoming the exciting place we always thought it was just about to. My name is not Gerald by the way, this comes from the name of a fake paper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald.
