On the 22nd of July i took my Girlfriend out for a meal at The Vanguard restaurant in Fareham. We sat down, chose our order from the menu, then approached the bar went to order our food, and the Waitress asked for ID in a rude manor, for food, seeing as I'm only 17 i didn't have any ID. There was nowhere that said customers had to be 18 to order food from the Bar. If you are Human you could imagine the embarrassment for myself going back to the table and saying that i was ID'D For food and was rejected the service to my Girlfriend. This totally ruined our day out. It seems as if they are going to try and starve the youths and not allow them food!! Don't Visit!!
This is my website The Folkestone Gerald that I built in a fury of enthusiasm when we first came to Folkestone in approximately 2004. I'd been a regular visitor for a while previous to that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get now. The site was a lot more dynamic with a calendar of events and voting for favourite places and stuff, and I know it was a useful reference for others who were thinking of moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only to Hythe) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is becoming the exciting place we knew it was about to become. I am not Gerald by the way, this comes from a pretend newspaper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local paper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great aren't they? Do contact me if you have anything to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on the twitter.
