this is an addition to the family business as they have a bistro in hythe high street love this one as we live in folkestone and the food is the best locally sourced food you could ask for. BYO is a price pleaser so try it we thought it FAB
This is part of my website The 'Gerald that I built in a fury of excitement when I first came to Folkestone in approximately '04. I'd been a regular visitor for a few years before that so I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get now. The site used to be a lot more dynamic with a gig calendar and voting for best venues and things, and I hear it was a handy reference for those who were thinking of moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though just a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is becoming the exciting place we always thought it was about to become. My name is not Gerald BTW, this comes from the name of a pretend newspaper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald.
