Everyone's got Twitter, right? See Folkestone Gerald's official twitter feed, and wherever you see Twitter on the page, click there to post your comment on Twitter, including a code that will be picked up again by this site. Clever stuff!
Likewise you may have noticed that any posts on Twitter regarding Folkestone are automatically picked up on the homepage. And if you loiter on that page, and Folkestone mentions are active enough, you'll see the page refresh before your very eyes...
Have fun!
This is my site The 'Gerald that I built in a fury of excitement when I first came to Folkestone sometime in '04. I'd been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that so I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get now. The site was a lot more dynamic with a calendar of events and voting for best venues and things, and I know it was a handy reference for others who were moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as Folkestone itself is now becoming the exciting place we always thought it was just about to. I am not Gerald BTW, this comes from the name of a fake newspaper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great aren't they? Do contact me if you have anything to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on the twitter.
