An anti-press release from Sellindge Music Festival! Probably best to get some bands on board and send out some info about who is playing your festival, rather than just going on about someone else's festival. Good to point this out though, Zoo8 was a disaster IN MY OPINION. And you wouldn't want to get caught out accidentally buying tickets for zoo9 would you? Here's what they have to say:
Red List Live asked me to remove all of the Sellindge Festival press release.
The official red list live site says the new festival is all about raising money for the Aspinal Foundation, no mention of it being the new name for, or organised by the same people as Zoo Thousand.
This is part of my website The 'Gerald that I built in a frenzy of excitement when I first came to Folkestone in approximately '04. I'd been a frequent visitor for a few years previous to that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get now. The site used to be updated more frequently with a calendar of events and voting for best venues and things, and I know it was a handy reference for those who were moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was about to become. My name is not Gerald BTW, this comes from the name of a pretend newspaper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local paper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are GRATE aren't they? Do get in touch if you have anything to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on the twitter.
