Not sure if that info is more up to date than what [the September issue](http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=17850512485 I read on Facebook]]. This is from [branch of [http://www.camra.org.uk CAMRA of Marsh Mash, the newsletter of Ashford, Folkestone and Romney Marsh" title="The Campaign for Real Ale"):
The bad news, The Fox Willesborough was firmly closed when visited in June and the Gate 28 in Sandgate, which closed in February, is to become a pizza restaurant. Whilst the Pullman Folkestone and the Captain Howey in New Romney both have notices "closed until further notice" in their windows, more information would be appreciated. The Railwaybell, Folkestone is closed to be turned into a Tesco Express.
I see they also have a database driven map now, competition eh?
This is my website The FG that I set up in a fury of enthusiasm when I first came here in approximately 2004. I'd been a regular visitor for a while previous to that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get nowadays. The site was a lot more dynamic with a calendar of events and voting for favourite venues and things, and I know it was a handy reference for others who were thinking of moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we always thought it was just about to. I am not Gerald BTW, this comes from the name of a fake newspaper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great aren't they? Do contact me if you have something to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on the twitter.
