There's a voucher on handbag.com this week for a free meal in Pizza Express. We might well have gone there anyway, nice!
Oh also I sold my Stereophonics tickets at last (at cost price)! A night in!
UPDATE: The voucher is no use at the weekends, so look out! There is a chance of a free bottle of wine there if you buy some Filippo Berrio olive oil though, we just got our voucher through the post. I think the free wine voucher is good for any time, even Saturdays, though you do have to spend over twenty quid.
This is part of my website The FG that I built in a fury of excitement when we first moved here in approximately 2004. I'd been a frequent visitor for a few years previous to that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get now. The site was a lot more dynamic with a gig calendar and voting for favourite venues and stuff, and I know it was a useful reference for others who were thinking of moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as The town is becoming the exciting place we always thought it was just about to. My name is not Gerald by the way, this comes from the name of a fake paper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are GRATE aren't they? Do contact me if you have anything to contribute, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on the twitter.
