I used to go and see these guys in Portsmouth about a MILLION BILLION years ago. Seriously, pre-britpop when dinosaurs still roamed the earth. They were great then. Enjoy! Plus Rob Deering, off TV.
On Tontine Street, can't miss it! Looks like a gert big cheese grater.
This is part of my site The Folkestone Gerald that I built in a fury of excitement when we first came to Folkestone sometime in '04. I'd been a frequent visitor for a while before that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get nowadays. The site was a lot more dynamic with a gig calendar and voting for favourite places and stuff, and I know it was a handy resource for those who were thinking of moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only to Hythe) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was just about to. I am not Gerald BTW, the name comes from the name of a pretend newspaper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great aren't they? Do get in touch if you have anything to contribute, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on the twitter.
